Collaboration helps us to get things accomplished that would be much more difficult if we were working alone. WBCC has always worked hand in hand with other organizations towards our shared goals.
Our partnerships with The National Breast Cancer Coalition, The Wisconsin Cancer Council, The Wisconsin Comprehensive Cancer Control Program, The American Cancer Society and others have resulted in successful policy changes, funding for vital research, and protections for patients.
Our involvement as a Community Partner for the Breast Cancer and the Environment Research Program will be vital to helping craft and share public health messages as research continues to come out of this program.
WBCC also is an active member of the Wisconsin Breast Cancer Taskforce - an alliance of over 90 stakeholder organizations working together to improve screening rates in Wisconsin.
The Wisconsin Breast Cancer Coalition also houses the Southeast Wisconsin Regional Breast Care Fund, which provides financial assistance for women in need due to their breast cancer diagnosis.
